I am positively not alone in my my passion for colored glass — especially old, crude hand-blown glass: the different thickness, the trapped bubbles...
Even the glass-blowing process feels a bit supernatural!
I love to wander through museums and stumble upon indescribably beautiful glass work.
The above bottles live in the Metropolitan Museum...

This patchwork pumpkin we dubbed Poor Yorick, since the husband-fish uses it in lieu of a skull when he declaims the Shakespearean scene...
It's the funniest thing to watch.
And this is our current project: an expanding arrangement of accoutrements and little scenes.
Pretty much, stormy oceans and melancholic children...
