Whenever the Moon is as magnificent as it was last night, you'll find me all a-flutter, stealing glances at her, trying to find the spot from where better views can be enjoyed (a telescope helps).
Lycanthropy, you say?
Decided not to miss the Moonset, I rose at 4 a.m.
Above all, I take pleasure in the Harvest Moon's ancestral significance.
We have now been warned by the elements:
Light is rapidly plunging.
Cold and Dark are near.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos, I love the moon too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos. I love watching the moon. It is fascinating :)
ReplyDeleteFunny thing: those were taken by putting the camera up to the telescope's eyepiece...
ReplyDeleteIn a perfect world, I'd have the actual adapter —then it would be true astrophotography!
I just really had to share the view! :)
According to my daughter all people from the Moon who live on Earth are extremely lucky because they celebrate their national day each Monday.
ReplyDeleteI love the sky. One of the first things I do when I go outside is look up. Nice photos of the moon - did you use a telescope?
