The Blanket Hermit.
Sluggish hermit coming through! Don't mind my trail of blankets, I'm just getting from one cozy cubby to the next.
I'm in love with my warm apartment right now. So much so that I've turned my back to the internets almost completely —delicious radio silence!
Right now, nothing feels as good as watching horror movies in the dimly lit apartment, covering the scary noises with the crunch of pop corn, hiding under the blanket when things get too creepy.
The studio has finally been baptized by a project or two. Things are nice and messy over there. Cocoa sipping and paper cutting go great together.
Yesterday I became possessed by tinkerer's madness, and tried to tune up a dear, expensive piece of equipment —it had been half-broken for a long time. The adventure should have ended with the canned-air dusting, but I went in and wiped out a whole circuit village...
After all had passed, I remembered: I have no knowledge of electronics at all.
We only hope that the gods of Faulty Home Appliances have been appeased by the sacrifice.

That. Is. So. Wonderful!
DeleteThank you so much for the link, I wasn't aware of its existence! I sat there, mesmerized by her precious voice and her strange explanations...
(You're right, about the resemblance: I had become one with my machine, and simply had to go in...)

Cocoa on a cold day is just about the best thing ever! I am not much about blankets and horror movies but your illustrations make me love them. How can you draw so, so, so well? I wish I was as good as you. Alas, I am left with photography only.
