I'm sure many people find this month to be a particularly great one, and claim it as their favorite, so you'll have to forgive me if I indulge a bit too much.
You see: I was born on one such October, many many years ago, so when pumpkins start sprouting on porches and stoops, I secretly think each one of them is coming out to see how I'm doing.
What can I say. I'm being enabled by all the pumpkin carvers out there.

I had a lot of fun putting together the endless forest, moonlit textures, and the slightly supernatural girl.
Oh! And the curly cat. How could we overlook him?

Now I'm trying to come up with something new, for the upcoming year. I've been wanting to turn some illustrations into embroidery patterns. So maybe that. Or some sort of printable, instead.
Open to suggestions! We have 2 months to figure this out. :)
Enjoy the calendar!

I love that she has a little pumpkin as a fascinator! And I would be happy with either embroidery patterns or prints. Or you could figure out how to get the images onto tote bags?
ReplyDeleteI do have a silkscreening kit waiting to be used... I could look into getting involved with the ever trusty tote. :)
DeleteGlad to hear you enjoy the fascinator!
So beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteThis desktop calendar is adorable and will definitely be gracing the screen of my work computer all month!
ReplyDeleteYay! So happy to hear that. :)
DeleteSo dreamy! Thank you for sharing, Anabel!
ReplyDeleteOh, and your button is up on my blog! :)
Ooh I love this one. I'm a fall baby too (November) so I know what you mean about the season being extra special. All the best holidays are in fall too!
ReplyDeleteA printable would be really cool. Actually, I love everything you do so I'm sure whatever you come up with will be brilliant. :)
Aw, so kind Mary!
DeleteAnd yes, once Fall starts, it's all holidays. Love it!
I just know that once the calendar initiative ends, I'll miss offering something regularly on the blog. I want to continue spreading the joy, so to speak. :)
This is so cute! I really like the color scheme.

Beautiful colors! I love the style and feel of it. And yes, I am one to claim October as my favorite month!
ReplyDeletenew fan - i love your work! thanks for the calendar. x Kat.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm a bit late to the party! Catching up on my blog reading. I love your writing as much as your photography & illustrations, Ana. What comes to mind is perhaps pairing some of your favorite quotes/words of wisdom from your own past posts with some of your images? I would definitely hang them up in my office or tuck them in my inspiration binder to enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the idea, Lisa!
DeleteI'm flattered that you find some of my posts inspiring enough to become part of your special binder :)
